Mattia Perin's future at Juventus hangs in the balance. According to Nicolò Schira, a renowned Italian journalist, the goalkeeper has opened the door to a possible departure following the arrival of Guglielmo Vicario, prompting the Old Lady to consider his transfer to Palermo.
At 33 years old and of Italian nationality, Perin has been a cornerstone in Juventus' goal, with his current market value standing at €2,000,000. His contract with the Turin club runs until June 30, 2027, indicating that the club has room to negotiate a transfer that benefits both parties.
The operation could include a salary of €2M per year for the goalkeeper at his new destination, and Schira also mentions that Juventus has secured Emil Audero as a potential replacement should Perin leave. Conversations are progressing, and documents are expected to be exchanged between Palermo and Juventus to formalize the agreement.
