Leandro Trossard, a 31-year-old Belgian winger, could be on the verge of leaving Arsenal to join Besiktas. According to Ben Jacobs, the Turkish club has reached a preliminary agreement with Arsenal for a transfer fee of around €20 million, including €18 million plus €2 million in add-ons.
Trossard, who plays as a left winger and has a market value of €18 million, currently has a contract with Arsenal until June 30, 2027. His addition to Besiktas could significantly strengthen the club's attack, which is looking to improve its competitiveness in the Turkish league and European competitions.
Fabrizio Romano also reported that Besiktas is preparing a mission to the United States to negotiate personal terms with Trossard, indicating that discussions are progressing. Meanwhile, Nicolò Schira confirmed that there is a preliminary agreement for a contract until 2029, with an option for 2030.
Despite these advances, the deal is not yet considered closed, as the player still needs to come to an understanding on personal terms. However, the optimism within the Turkish club suggests that the transfer could be finalized soon.
