Italian club Lazio is in advanced negotiations to acquire Croatian center-back Josip Sutalo, currently at Ajax Amsterdam. According to Nicolò Schira, there is interest in the player, whose market value stands at €12 million and whose contract with Ajax runs until June 30, 2028.
At 26 years old, Sutalo has proven to be a cornerstone in Ajax's defense, and his potential arrival at Lazio could significantly strengthen the team's backline. The operation is set to be a loan with an option to buy, with an estimated cost between €2.5 and €3 million, according to various sources, including Gianluca Di Marzio and Alfredo Pedullà.
Lazio's interest has materialized into active negotiations, and a definitive response from Ajax to the recently presented offer is expected.
