Juan Barinaga is the new player of Racing Club
César Luis Merlo has confirmed that Juan Barinaga, 25-year-old right-back, will join Racing Club from Boca Juniors in a loan deal with a purchase option for 2.5 million dollars.
Juan Barinaga, 25 years old and of Argentine nationality, becomes the new player of Racing Club after an agreement with Boca Juniors. The right-back, whose market value is 2.8 million euros, has been confirmed by César Luis Merlo, who noted that the operation includes a one-year loan with a purchase option of 2.5 million dollars.
The player, who is under contract with Boca Juniors until December 31, 2028, joins Racing at a time when the team is looking to strengthen its defense. Barinaga's arrival could provide solidity and experience to the right side of the team, which has shown a need for improvement in that position.
