Hjulmand, whose market value stands at €60 million, is under contract with Napoli until June 30, 2030. His youth and potential make him a valuable asset, not only for Napoli but also for Atlético, which is looking to strengthen its attack with a quality and promising player.
The negotiation is at an intermediate stage, with a gap of about €5 million and some bonuses still to discuss. Moretto also notes that the player's agents have been working to bridge the gap, indicating that both parties are motivated to reach an agreement.
