AC Milan advances in negotiations for Lazio's Mario Gila

According to Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan has contacted Mario Gila's agent and agreed on personal terms with the Spanish defender. The operation could close around €25 million.
AC Milan has intensified negotiations to sign Mario Gila, a 25-year-old center-back from SS Lazio, who has a market value of €30 million and a contract valid until June 30, 2027. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the rossonero club has made contacts with the player's agent.
Fabrizio Romano also confirms that Milan has agreed on personal terms with Gila, who accepted a five-year contract. The financial offer has been adjusted, and the player has expressed his interest in joining the Milan club.
Matteo Moretto reports that the new management team at Milan has improved their proposal, leading Gila to give his total consent to the club. Nicolò Schira adds that the defender has agreed to a contract until 2031, with a salary of €4.5 million per year plus bonuses, surpassing offers from Napoli and Atalanta.
Lazio could receive a fee of €25 million for the transfer, although a final agreement has yet to be reached. Negotiations are expected to advance in the coming days.
