Lazio is in the final stages of negotiations to acquire Andrea Pinamonti, forward from US Sassuolo, who has a market value of €15M and a contract running until June 30, 2027. Journalist Nicolò Schira reports that the Roman club has made a €12M offer, which includes a loan and an option to buy.
Pinamonti, aged 27 and of Italian nationality, has been a key player in his position as a centre-forward, and his transfer to Lazio would represent a significant step in his career, allowing him to compete at a club with higher aspirations in Serie A. This move could be beneficial for both teams, as Lazio seeks to strengthen its attack while Sassuolo could secure an important income from their player.
Conversations have advanced, and parties are expected to meet again to finalize the details. Schira has confirmed that personal terms have been agreed for a contract extending until 2031, reflecting Lazio's confidence in securing the forward.
